Welcome to the Princess Victoria. First opened in 1830 and popular in Kensington ever since, the Princess Victoria is now under the new management of Susie Pacheco.
Born in Spain, Susie has many years of successful pub management in London and has brought her skills and expertise to the Princess Victoria.
Both the ground floor bar and upstairs dining room have been tastefully refurbished and using Susie’s Spanish heritage, outstanding tapas have been added to the menu along with traditional classics such as Sunday Roast and Fish and Chips. Tapas make a superb starter or a tasty snack with your drinks.
The bar is a light and roomy space with its comfortable seating and traditional English oak flooring serving an excellent range of beers, wines, champagnes and cocktails as well as delicious summer drinks like Pimm's, Sangria and Aperol Spritz making an ideal accompaniment to the tapas!
Friday night is particularly special when Gilly and her keyboard play a wide range of music in response to requests. You can expect lots of audience participation and even the odd inspiring solo!
The new dining room has been converted from a Victorian parlour and bedroom creating a relaxing environment with subdued lighting. It is ideal for enjoying a leisurely meal with friends and family.
The dining room can also be rented for private parties with food chosen from the menu, and those tapas are just right for such occasions! You can also request other kinds of food or even get Gilly to provide the music... just chat to Susie.
